Recognition of Contribution
“The heart berry” reminds of reconciliation and teaches us how to maintain heartfelt relationships in our families and communities. During the strawberry harvest, many communities hold feast, welcoming everyone home, and letting go of differences, judgement, and self-righteous. Café-Héritage welcomes those who have made a major contribution.
VISION
Volunteers recognized as the foundation for community development, are the lifeline for the preservation, promotion, and animation of our community arts, culture, and heritage.
MISSION
To reach, engage, and meet the needs of those who make a formal commitment to being part of the Café Heritage volunteer family.
GOALS
- To support volunteers in providing timely orientation, training, and development
- To assist volunteers in achieving their full potential
- To provide ongoing feedback on their impact (organization mission and community)
- To provide ongoing recognition for the work being accomplished

The following will be adopted as Café Heritage’s policy on recognizing the above for their contribution in moving the corporation forward.
EVENTS
It shall be Board policy to provide free entry and meals (where applicable) for those volunteers who are directly involved with the following:
- Lions SuperSTARS
- Rayside Balfour Heritage Days
- Mémoires Chelmsford Arena
- Coté Park Party
- SuperSOUND Explosion
- Le Réveillon
- Rolly’s Winter Games
- Others as approved by the Board
It shall be Board policy that the Delta Bingo Group shall be provided free entry including meals (where applicable) to all mentioned events.
It shall be Board policy that volunteers will have the option to pay or not to pay for any of the above events.
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION NIGHT
Productions Café Heritage will invite all volunteers who have volunteered their gift of time and personal resources to our annual Corp’s d’Elite Awards Night.
