President’s  Message

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to RaysideBalfour Heritage Week 2026, a week dedicated to celebrating the stories, people, and traditions that make our community so special. Each year, this event reminds us of the pride we share in our heritage and the bright future we continue to build together.

This celebration would not be possible without the generous support of our Funders, our Sponsors, and the more than 150 volunteers who give their time, energy, and heart to make Heritage Week happen. Your dedication ensures that our community spirit continues to shine. Thank you for everything you do.

Our theme this year, “WELCOME HOME” is dedicated to our “FOUNDING and SIGNIFICANT FAMILIES” which reflects the strength, resilience, and generosity that define RaysideBalfour. Throughout the week, we invite you to experience a full lineup of events that honour our past while celebrating the vibrant community we are today.

We begin on Thursday with We are in Good Hands (Fire, Police demos) the return of our infamous Summer Concert Series, a highenergy kickoff that sets the tone for the week ahead. On Friday evening, we present the Mémoires / Memories Concert, a heartfelt musical tribute to the people and stories that shaped our region.

Saturday brings a full day of excitement with our Heritage Parade, Mémoires Main Stage Concerts, and the alwayspopular Hot Summer Day and Children’s Festival. We’re

also proud to feature Gerry Montpellier’s Wicked Wheels, a favourite for families and enthusiasts alike. Add to that our bustling Vendors’ Village and community Barbecue, all coming together to create the lively Côté Park Party—a true celebration of community spirit.

We close the week on Saturday night with a spectacular finale: the SuperSOUND VARIETY SHOW Explosion at the Dr. Edgar Leclair Hall, bringing together talent, energy, and entertainment for an unforgettable finish.

As we gather once again to celebrate our heritage, I invite you to join us, participate fully, and take pride in the community we continue to build—together, and always in good hands.

Welcome to Heritage Week 2026.
Welcome home.
